From Aswan we will board a 5* Nile river cruise to the magical area of Luxor, with its acclaimed temples and tombs representing the pinnacle of Egyptian architecture. Along the way we will visit Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple. Egyptian civilization’s intriguing cosmology is revealed during your visit to the ancient Egyptian capital of Luxor. There we will visit the Valley of the King’s, with special entry to King Tut’s tomb, and Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple on the Nile’s West bank. On the East bank we will visit Karnak, the greatest temple complex of them all, with some time in Sekhmet’s temple there. While in Luxor, we will also experience the Luxor Temple at sunset, and a visit to Dendera temple (Hathor) to the North. In Luxor there is an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride, which is absolutely breathtaking.

Day 1 March 9th – Journey to Siwa Oasis – Overnight Taghaghen Island Resort

Day 2 March 10th – Visit Temple of Amun Ra, Desert Safari including Jeep Ride and Sandboarding, Hot Springs – Overnight CAMPING in Desert with the nearly full moon and a fire ceremony.
